Paul

Meet Paul, our resident WordPress whisperer and the reason our websites behave themselves. Known as Pablo to some and Paulinho to others, he’s spent the best part of a decade building websites and has become a proper specialist in WordPress and the code that sits underneath it. If a site needs building, fixing, speeding up or gently persuading to do as it’s told, Paul is the man.

Originally from the UK, Paul packed his bags nine years ago in search of a more nomadic way of living and never quite got round to unpacking them. These days he’s based in Bali, working remotely alongside the rest of the Red Kite team and proving that a few time zones are no match for a good developer. When he’s not deep in a build, you’ll find him playing far too much padel, hunting down the best coffee in town, planning his next trip, or rescuing and rehoming the stray cats and dogs of Bali.

Paul also takes his health very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that his daily supplement routine runs to more than twenty different powders, from spirulina and chlorella to lion’s mane, black maca and something called cordyceps. We’re still not entirely sure what half of them do, but we suspect they’re the secret behind his uncanny knack for staying online in places that have no business having a signal at all. Whatever the recipe, it clearly works.
