After trying several logo designers that weren't quite hitting the mark, I was so happy I was referred to Chris. I have engaged Chris from Red Kite for a number of branding & visual identity projects, and I have been delighted every time… more importantly, so have my clients. I have extremely high standards and will not accept mediocre.
I find Chris to be very responsive with excellent communication. He asks the right questions to ensure he has everything he needs to come up with the best solution possible, gives comprehensive feedback and provides detailed overview of his design/thought process for each concept presented. Chris is a very talented designer, and obviously applies strategy to his design thinking, which leads to the end creative being purpose driven, engaging and a reflection of the overall brand direction.

I contacted Chris at Red Kite with a list what must have been about thirty ‘design ideas’ (if you can call them that!) written on a napkin from me and the boys. We’ve no prior experience in design or marketing so I didn’t really know what I was talking about, but thankfully Chris did! He kept me involved throughout the whole creation process, explained what he was doing and probably most importantly for amateurs like us managed our expectations well.
There were a couple times where some of the ideas we’d had didn’t fit with the design but when these cropped up Chris made sure to explain why they might not be the right fit and offered different alternatives to suit the design. He ultimately left the ‘executive decisions’ up to me but once he’d explained his thought process within the ultimate goals we had about the design I was more than happy to follow his expert advice. And the results speak for themselves!
At the end of the day we ended up with a cracking logo that we’re absolutely made up with. If we’d got with a yes-man or more impersonal service then who knows what we’d have ended up with (What’s the phrase - a camel is a horse made by a committee… imagine what a horse made by a committee of breakfast loving blokes would look like!) As it is with Chris’ expertise I’ve got four blokes here who all started out with different ideas in mind but are all absolutely bowled over by the end result.
