We first came to Red Kite looking for a logo, but after looking at what they can do we quickly realised a brand is much more than that. We reached out to Red Kite to help us create a completely unique and cohesive brand identity for our small game development team, and to say they delivered would be an understatement.
At every step, Chris and the Red Kite team showed genuine enthusiasm and interest in what we were hoping to accomplish, what themes and concepts we wanted reflected in our branding, and how we could convey all our wild ideas in a cohesive way. At no point in the process did it feel like the Red Kite team was pushing a particular direction–there was constant communication and their decision making process was always clear.
The final product was more than a logo, but a full brand identity kit that included mock-ups for merchandise and posters, marketing materials, websites, the works. The custom document they put together for us, along with a plethora of files exported for web and print use, outlined nearly every possible permutation of how our new brand identity could be used–from font selections and colors, to the creation of all kinds of fun glyphs and illustrative elements that would supplement our work.
We also worked with Red Kite to put together an animated version of the logo to use in trailers and other media, and the process there was just as detailed. Our feedback for changes to their first pass was expertly acted upon and integrated into subsequent passes, and the final version of the animation was excellent.
I expect we will be recommending Red Kite’s services to anyone we meet who expresses even the slightest interest in branding or logo design needs, and I’m certainly doing that to whomever is reading this review right now.
