A fresh take on children’s apparel with a fun yet sophisticated identity design.
Little Generation is a start-up business producing fun and fashionable apparel for primary age children and below. For a fashion brand the logo is extremely important, so our goal was to create a unique set of marks that would resonate with kids and their parents, whilst looking great whatever the application.
An eye catching and unique primary logo with a set of seven supporting marks which can be applied across a diverse range of clothing, accessories, tags, bags and merchandise. This appealing and versatile set of logos has created the basis of a strong, recognisable brand that children of all ages can wear with pride.

For versatility and differentiation across the full product range we created a logo kit of eight unique logos, each designed with a specific application in mind. A well designed logo kit can be a great way of creating an adaptable brand that remains recognisable whichever mark is used.

Little Generation’s core products are stylish snap back caps. Our original and primary logo was designed to sit on a circular patch on the front of these hats. As a start-up it was also important to establish brand recognition by using the full company name incorporated in this main logo.
To add diversity to the range of hats available we designed a second patch logo which could be used interchangeably. With surf and skate being core brand attributes this logo ties in to that style, maintaining the ‘LG’ monogram as the key identifier for the Little Generation brand.
This pictorial logo design was created primarily for use on merchandise such as stickers, stamps and badges, however, also looks great on clothing and accessories. The whirlpool background ties back into our theme of sea and surf vibes.
A horizontal lockup of the logo was important for several applications including the header of the website. This would allow the brand to look great where vertical space wasn’t available. Although designed with the website in mind this mark also proved useful for items such as clothing labels, tags, and documents.
On clothing items such as caps where a pictorial logo is used on the front, it was important to include the full name on the garment for people to associate with the brand. This wordmark logo was designed to sit on the side of the caps. The fun customised typography style also makes it a great stand-alone logo for use on apparel and marketing collateral.
In order to allow for branding opportunities at every touch point, icon logos were included using only the symbol element of the identity. The capability for these marks to look good at small sizes means they are perfect for a myriad of applications including the website favicon, labels, tags, merchandise, apparel and more.
As part of ‘The Lot’ package we created a corporate stationery set including a business card design, letterhead design and with compliments slip design.
With social media marketing increasingly important to consumer perception it is important to present well online. To boost Little Generation’s digital presence we created a social media kit including all profile and banner images for their channels of choice.
